Misty is in a tight spot. Her stand-up is barely getting her by, she's been three credits short of getting her Hero credential from Crime Fighting University for the past 6 years, The Coastal City Legion of Superheroes and Do-Gooders won't take her in (no matter who she's slept with), same goes for the villain's union, and her mentor looks better in tights than she does!

Cue disaster!

Misty is on stage when her government issued mandatory danger pager goes off. The show must go on, and she ignores it. Meanwhile, the entire Legion has been wiped out while giving a lecture at the University. The Villains and Evil Masterminds Guild, who have a kick-ass dental plan by the way, is now ready to run rough shod on a hero-less city.

Well, almost hero-less.

Seeking help from White Swallow, a former boy sidekick turned professor, and the far-off heroes left around the world, she is now the only show in town. She is a slacker hero who'd rather crack a joke than a jaw, wants Christian Dior to design something in Kevlar, and thinks some of the villains are decent or better in bed. She is... The Last Hero Standing.
